I spend a lot of time in my car, whether it's visiting my boyfriend who lives 2.5 hours away for college, or whether it's road tripping somewhere exciting and adventurous. This calls for a lot of caffeine, food and good music to keep me company.

Of course what you pack in regards to clothing will depend on wear your headed, and the weather, and your personal style. But don't forget these essentials for any trip!

• Earplugs
• Neck pillow and blanket
• Moisturiser
• Lip balm
• Water
• Snacks/food - healthy and unhealthy
• Sun glasses
• Hand sanitizers
• First-aid kit with pain relievers
• GPS (will make your life a lot easier). Take a map too just in case!
• Toilet paper - I learnt this from my mum. Just in case where your headed runs out
• I highly recommend road side assistance
• Spare tire that is ready to use
• Plastic bag for rubbish - keep your car clean
• Playlist, duh
• Money in small bills and coins for possible tolls etc
